Welcome

On behalf of the all of the staff, children and governors, I would like to welcome you to Bures CEVC Primary School. As you browse our website, we hope to give you an insight into the life of our school, our values and our ethos. Our school offers you all that you would expect from a village school. We are proud of the ‘family feel’ that we have created and believe that it is the perfect environment in which children can flourish. 

We are committed to providing a broad and balanced education so that we can help each child to discover their own academic, artistic, musical, creative and physical potential and help them to flourish. We have worked diligently on our curriculum design which is constantly evaluated and continues to evolve. We support this with evidence informed research.

We prepare young people for life so their wellbeing, conduct and character matter to us. We want them to understand how to take on life’s challenges, know how to seek support, when to take risks, be polite and treat each other well. We believe in partnership between pupils, teachers and parents to enable each individual to thrive and achieve their potential in and out of the classroom.
